Three of the extant orders were bundled together, suggesting those three orders correspond to the $3.00 entry. This $1.00 order likely corresponds to the $1.00 entry. Clark’s account in the ledger notes ten orders on collector dated 16 August 1844 totaling $8.00. This and the other three extant pay orders for Clark dated 16 August 1844 likely correspond to four of those eight orders.
