“Sundries” is written in the place where the name of the person whose taxes are being paid usually appears. Presumably this order was for several different individuals. Moses Sanders is listed in the Nauvoo City Treasury ledger as being paid $13.00 by a treasurer’s order dated 7 January 1844; possibly he is one of the people to whom this order applies.
