There is an entry recorded 10 October 1844 in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for $1.00 for an order to Warren Smith dated 26 August 1844. This order possibly corresponds to that entry. Smith’s account in the ledger notes nine orders on collector dated 26 August 1844 totaling $20.00. This and the other extant pay order for Smith dated 26 August 1844 likely correspond to two of those nine orders.
