TO THE SHERIFF OF SAID Rock Island COUNTY— GREETING:
WE COMMAND YOU TO SUMMON , Adm[inistrato]r for the Estate of Joseph Smith decd and Admrx [administratrix] of Decd. if to be found in your county, to appear before the Circuit Court of said county of , on the first day of the next term thereof, to be holden at the Court House, in , on the Third Monday in the month of October A D 1845 to answer the complaint of , Guardian for the heirs of decd. of a plea that they render unto him the sum of Seven Thousand, Seven hundred and fifty Dollars which to him they owes and from him unjustly detains to his damage of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, as he says. And have you there this writ, and make return thereon in what manner you execute the same.
