DEATHS for the week ending Monday the 25th inst. [24 July 1843]
Johnathan G. Hale; 1 year 7 months 14 days; nervous fever.
Mary Hoyt; 21 years; consumption.
Isaac F. Freeman; 47 years; inflamation of the brain
James Emett; 8 years 4 months; struck with lightning.
Elizabeth Griffin; 10 months 19 days; inflamation of the bowels.
Blessed spirit, wing thy way
To the realms of brighter day:
To our hearts we press no more
The form an angel’s image bore;
Yet we know that thou are blessed
With a far more happy rest—
And a pure and brilliant star,
Thou dost shine in realms afar.
