Biography
24 Dec. 1801–4 Mar. 1890. Born in Hebron, Washington Co., New York. Daughter of Justus Winchell and Eva Savage. Married Albert Clements, 28 Jan. 1822, at Fort Ann, Washington Co. Participated in Zion’s Camp expedition to Missouri, 1834. Brought lawsuit City of Nauvoo v. Clements and N. Tanner against husband and his friend, Dec. 1842, in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley, arriving in 1852. Remarried Albert Clements, 1872, in Salt Lake City. Died at Oxford, Bingham Co., Idaho.
