Ca. 1811–11 Sept. 1868. Land agent, notary public. Born in New Jersey. Son of Samuel Green and Sarah Scudder. Baptized into St. John’s Protestant Episcopal Church, 16 Apr. 1829, in Philadelphia. Married Maria M. Bassett, 12 Jan. 1833, in Philadelphia. Plaintiff in Green v. Ferris Administrator of the Estate of JS, 19 Apr. 1849, in Hancock Co., Illinois. Moved to Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois, by Aug. 1850. Died in Quincy.
