Dunlap, John S.
Biography
ca. 1810–18 June 1849. Court clerk, physician. Born in Pennsylvania. Moved to Burlington, Des Moines Co., Iowa Territory, by 1838. Served as court clerk for Des Moines Co. District Court, 1838–1846. Participated in Colonization Society of Iowa, 1839. Married Mary Frances Sullivan, before 20 July 1841. Died near Booneville, Cooper Co., Missouri, on steamer Mary Blane.
