Biography
25 Jan. 1838–23 Mar. 1907. Born in Pickering, York Co. (later in Ontario), Upper Canada. Daughter of Edward Lawrence and Margaret Major. Immigrated to Lima, Adams Co., Illinois, by Feb. 1839. Father died, between 5 Nov. and 23 Dec. 1839. JS became legal guardian, 4 Jan. 1841. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley with Edward Hunter pioneer company, arriving by 13 Oct. 1850. Married John Burnham Kimball, 1 Aug. 1858, in Salt Lake City. Died in Los Angeles.
