Know, all men, that we , as principal and as surity, do joint and severaly bind ourselves, Heirs, Administrators, Executors or Assigns firmly forever by these presents to the Clerk of the Municipal court of the City of for the full and jest sum of one thousand dollars.
The condition of this obbligation is such that whare-as should the said duly, truly and faithfully proforme the duties of Assessor & Collection, for the first Ward of the City of the current year then this obligation is null and void otherways to remane in full force and virtue.
In witness whareof we have here unto set out hands and seals this <twenty first> day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three.
