In consideration of Two hundred and fifty dollars to me to be paid as follows Viz: Thirty dollars on demand— One hundred and ten dollars with in[terest on] the first day of November Eighteen hundred and forty— and One hundred and ten dollars with interest on the first day of November Eighteen hundred and fortyfour.— I of — Hancock County— State of Illinois— do hereby obligate myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns— to mak[e] and execute a good and sufficient warrantee deed to , his heirs, executors, administators or assigns, for all that lot of land in the Said Town of , known on the map of said town as Lot No three in Block One in Block No One hundred and fortyseven——
And for the performance of this obligation I— hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in the penal Sum of Five hundred dollars.——
This bond to be in full force and virtue provided the above mentioned payments be well and duly made at the periods of time above specified, Otherwise to be null and void.
Witness my hand and seal this twentythird day of September One thousand eight hundred and thirtynine.
