KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS—That Ethan Kimball of the county of , and State of , has this day for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred and fifty dollars in hand paid by Emerry Barrus of the County of and State of , bargained and sold unto the said Emerry Barrus—— a certain lot or piece of land lying and situated in Kimball's addition to in said and last mentioned, as will more fully appear by refference to the plat of said addition, being lot No. Four in block No. 22 in said addition to the Town of .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD The above described lot or piece of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Emerry Barrus his heirs and assigns forever.
And the said ETHAN KIMBALL for himself his heirs and assigns administrators and executors, do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against every person or persons claiming by, through, or under him in any manner whatsoever. or any other persons whatever
