This Indenture— made and entered— into this tenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty, between Joseph Smith Junr and his wife of the county of and State of of the one part, and of the and aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the Said Joseph Smith Jnur and his wife, for and consideration of the Sum of Six hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the Said party of the Second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain, Sell, convey and confirm unto the Said her heirs and assigns forever all those two pieces or parcels of land or lots [p. 575]
