the Mormns are going to pave ther streets with gold but from pentt [present] apperences I think they will pave with awhile and pave with stone first, for this is <stone is> more plenty of this [illegible] than gold <than gold yet,>.— though cash is plenty on hand <more abundant & of better quality here> than any other city in the west.—
