By command of the Major General I hereby notify you to organize your cohort as follows, in order to draw rations from the Commissary— the Serjt. Major of the cohort is to give orders to the Serjt. Majors of each Regiment— and they are to come themselves to the Commissary to draw the rations for their respective Regiments— and their forage for the Officers of the Line, Baggage Waggons &c— the orderly’s of Companies to draw from the Sergt. Major of the Regiment (who is the Commissary of the Regt.) and is to distribute the same among the men by mess
