Wednesday May 25th. A.L. 5842 A.D. 1842
8 o clock A.M.
Special communication, Lodge met pursuant to adjournment. Present. , W.M. pro. tem.; , S.W. pro tem.; , J.W.; , Treasr. pro tem.; Secy, pro tem.; , Secy. pro. tem.; , S.D.; Wm. Felshaw, J.D. pro tem.; , Tyler pro tem.; , Christopher Williams, Wm. Vanausdall, , , ; , , , , , & Joseph Smith, members. Wm. Devoe, visiting brother, hailed from Burlington Lodge 41, Iowa Territory; F. C. Mason; Henry Hoagland, & Stephen H. Burtis, E. A. Masons. An E. A. lodge was then opened in due form, the minutes of the preceeding meeting read and adopted; and Samuel L Forgeus, , & were duly initiated E.A. Masons No further business appearing in this degree the E. A. lodge was dispensed with and a lodge opened in due form on the second degree of Masonry, whereupon Henry Hoagland & Stephen H. Burtis were duly passed to the degree of a F. C. Mason. Lodge called off from labor to refreshment until 4 o’ clock P.M.

Lodge called from refreshment to labor. Present, officers as before & , , , Gustavus Hicks, Charles Kennedy, , , Jr., , , Hervey Green, , , , , , , , John Eldridge, , , , , members, & Wm. Devoe, visiting brother. No further business appearing in this degree the F. C. lodge was dispensed with and a lodge opened in due form on the third degree of Masonry, whereupon , , & were duly raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason & signed the by-laws. No further business appearing the several lodges closed down to stand closed untill tomorrow morning at 8 o clock
