The Lodge then enquired of Jos. Smith as the price of the Room and he stated that it would be $20 per month, reserving the privilege of the room when unoccupied by the Lodge for the use of a school being taught in it.
Resolved by the Lodge that we rent the room at the sum of twenty Dollars per month. with the above privileges for Jos. Smith
It was then resolved that the Secy. Settle with Bro Jos. Smith for the rent of the room for the past year
No further business appearing in this degree the master Masons Lodge was closed in due form until Wednesday Evening the 7th. Inst.
A Lodge was then opened in the first degree of Masonry.
