There is an entry recorded 19 February 1845 in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for $20.00 for an order to James H. Glines dated 5 October 1844. This pay order likely corresponds to that entry. Glines’s account in the ledger notes five orders on collector dated 5 October 1844 totaling $30.00. This and the two other extant pay orders for Glines dated 5 October 1844 likely correspond to three of those five orders.
