Know all men by these Presents That I Joseph Smith of the County of and State of Do hereby constitute and appoint Franklin J Bartlett of the same place, my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name to make sign seal Execute and deliver unto the Coroner of and aforesaid a good and sufficient Bond, to save and keep harmless the said Coroner in Repleving a certain Toped Buggy Waggon and harness taken by the Sheriff of said County of , as the property of , and for me and in my name to make Execute sign seal and deliver all Bonds which are by law required of me for the purpose of instituting maintaining and prosecuting said Replevin suit in the Circuit Court of , as fully to all intents and purposes as I myself might or could do were I present hereby ratifying and Confirming all my said Attorneys acts for the uses and purposes herein mentioned. Witness my hand and seal this 25th day of March 1843
