Enrolment, In conformity to an ACT OF THE CONGRESS of the , entitled “An Act, for Enrolling and Licensing Ships or Vessels to be Employed in the Coasting Trade and Fisheries, and for regulating the same.”
O. A Miller of the City of and State of Louisiana having taken or subscribed the Oath required by the said Act, and having Sworn that he together with of State of are
Citizen of the , sole owner of the Ship or Vessel, called the Maid of Iowa of whereof O. A Miller is at present Master, and as he hath sworn is a Citizen of the , and the said Ship or Vessel was Built at in the territory of in the Year 1842; as per Enrolment No. 88 Issued at the port of on the 14thday of September 1843. Now surrendered Property changed in part and said Enrolment
Having Certified that the said Ship or Vessel has one deck and no mast and that her length is One hundred and fifteen feet her breadth Eighteen feet, four inches her depth three feet and that she measures Sixty and 17/95ths

And the said O A. Miller having agreed to the description and admeasurement above specified, and sufficient security having been given according to the said act, the said SmBoat has been duly enroled at the port of .
