Biography
15 Mar. 1817–17 Feb. 1889. Ship carpenter. Born in Pennsylvania. Son of Jacob Copeland and Elizabeth. Married Margaret Wilcox, 3 July 1839, in Philadelphia. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, by 1842. Plaintiff in Copeland v. A. Brown, 5 Sept. 1842, in Nauvoo. Returned to Philadelphia, after 1844. Joined Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Moved to Camden, Camden Co., New Jersey, by 1880. Died in Camden.
