Married Anna Brookes, 4 June 1833, in New York City. Operated dry goods store in partnership with Alfred Brookes, 1831–1835; with Harry Hyde, 1836–1838; and with Benjamin H. Tallmadge, 1839–1840, all in New York City. Wine dealer with Benjamin H. Tallmadge, 1841, in New York City. Plaintiff in Boynton and Hyde v. JS, 3 Apr. 1838, in Chardon, Geauga Co., Ohio. Likely died in New York City.
