Married Elizabeth Foxcroft, 17 June 1830, in Church Kirk, Lancashire. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, before 8 July 1841. Immigrated to U.S.; arrived in New Orleans, 1 Apr. 1842. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. Drew portraits of JS and other prominent early church members in Nauvoo. Moved to Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., Wisconsin, by 1846. Moved to Maquoketa, Jackson Co., Iowa, by 1852. Died in Maquoketa.
