KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That I of the county of and State of held and firmly bound unto Joseph Smith Trustee in Trust for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of the county of and State of his heirs Successors and assigns, in the sum of Four Two hundred & Seven—— dollars, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, I bind myself my heirs , executors and administrators, firmly by these presents.
NOW THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That whereas, the said —— have this day sold unto the said Joseph Smith as trustee in trust —— a certain lot of ground, situated, lying and being in the county of and State of , and described on the plat of the s addution <to > as being A part Lot No. 32 in Block No. six and received in payment for said lot notes of hand bearing even date herewith, for the sum of Two hundred & seven—— dollars, and payable as follows, with interest:
Commencing one and a half rods east of the north west corner of said lot and runing south to the center of kimball street a bout twenty two rods and half then east the length of a city lot. or a bout 13½ rods thence north to the north line of Lot 32. a bout twenty two rods and half thence west to the place of beginning a bout 13½——: rods Containing one full Lot and one fractional lot the size of the City lots
The interest for each and every note to be paid annually.
Now, if the said Joseph Smith having paid the Sum of two hundred & seven dollars to said , heirs executors, or administrators shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid, the amount of said note with such interest as may accrue thereon, according to the tenor and effect thereof, when due, the said —— binds himself his— heirs, executors and administrators, to make, or cause to be made, to the said Joseph Smith—— —— his heirs succesors and assigns, a good and sufficient Deed for the above described lot on or before the first day of September A. D. 1843— and then this bond shall become null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. Given under my hand and seal this fifth—— day of February—— in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty Two
