Know all men by these presents that I as principal and < and > as securities are held and firmly bound unto , Paymaster General of the , in the penal sum of two hundred dollars lawful mony of the of which payment well and truly to be made <paid made> we bind ourselves our heirs executors administrators and assigns firmly by these presents this the twenty fifth day of September A. D. 1843.
The conditions of the above bond is such that if the above bounden shall well and truly perform the duties of Collector of fines for the Nauvoo Legion according to the Laws of said Legion. that is to say shall collect all such fines as may be put into his hands for collection within the time specified in the warrant or warrants and pay over the same to the officer or officers whose duty it shall be to recieve them or account for them according to the afforesaid laws then this bond shall and forever be and remain forever null and void in Law and equity else remain in full force and virtue. Given under our hands & seals the day and year above written
