For and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred dollars to me in hand paid by and of the County of and state of Illinois, I Joseph Smith of the County & State aforesaid bind myself my heirs and assigns to make to the Said — and a good and sufficient deed, eighteen years from the date hereof for all that Lot of ground Situate lying and being in the County of and state of Illinois and described on the plat of the Town of as being Lot No Two in Block No Eighty, and for the performance of the above obligation I bind my self my heirs and assigns in the penal Sum of one thousand dollars
