For and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty dollars to us in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged we Joseph Smith Jr and of the County of and State of do obligate ourselves our heirs Executors administrators and assigns to make and execute a good and Sufficient deed of Conveyance for all that Lot of ground or parcel of land lying and being in the County of and State of and described on the plat of the Town of as being Fifty feet Square off the North west Corner of Lot No. Two (2) in Block No one hundred and eight (108) to or her heirs or assigns. And for the performance of this obligation we hereby bind ourselves our heirs executors administrators and assigns in the penal Sum of four hundred dollars. Given under our hands and seals this third day of June A. D. 1840
