Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Smith Jr of the County of and State of am held and firmly bound unto of the and aforesaid in the penaul Sum of one thousand dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be made I bind myself my heirs administrators and assigns firmly by these presents.
Now the condition of the above obligation is such that the said having sold to of the city and county of and State a certain peice or parcels of land situate being lying and being in the county of — and State of and described as follows to wit: viz the South Half of the North East quarter of Section number two in township Six North and in Range nine west of the fourth principal meridian also ten acres running from the last described tract to the and bounded North on Charles Monson’s [and] South by Joseph Smith Jr & s [p. 63]
