s to Thomas Winward For pt of old State road—
Quit Claim Deed Know all men by these Presents, that I of the City of County of & State of & Eliza the wife of the said of the aforesaid in consideration of the sum of Thirty Two Dollars & fifty Cents to us in hand paid by Thomas Winward of the City of and as aforesaid, the reciept whereof we do hereby acknowledge have have bargained sold and quit-claimed & by these presents do bargain sell and quit claim unto the said Thomas Winward and to his heirs & assigns for ever all our & each of our right title interest estate claim, and demand both at law and in equity and as well in possession as in expecting of, in and to all that form or piece of Land situate between the City lot of the said on the North & the respective Lots of & James Hendrix [Hendricks] on the south being what was formerly occupied as a state Road & containing Two, Rods in wi<​d​>th and the whole distance of the said City Lot in length with all and singular the heriditraments and appurtenances thereunto belonging. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands & seals this fourth day of June A. D. 1842.

Joseph Smiths to Jacob Weiler For L 1 in B 94 of
This Indenture made, and entered into, this twelvth day of July in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty-one between Joseph Smith and his wife, of the county of and State of , of the one part, and Jacob Weiler of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said Joseph Smith and , his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Jacob Weiler his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the county of in the state of and described on the plat of the City of . as being Lot number (1) one in Block number (94) ninety four Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining.
To Have and to Hold the above described premises unto the said Jacob Weiler his heirs and assigns forever. and the said Joseph Smith and his wife, there heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said Jacob Weiler his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
