This Indenture made, and entered into, this nineteenth day of February, in the year our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty two, between and his wife, of the County of , and State of , of the one part, and Joseph Smith, Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part Witnesseth, that the said , and his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of Seventy five dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Joseph Smith, Trustee in Trust his sucessors in office and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of , in the State of , viz: one acre of the South East corner of the east end of the South half of the North West quarter of Section thirty six Township seven North and nine West of the base line and fourth principal Meridian; the above named one acre commencing at the South East corner of the aforesaid Lot, and runs West Ten rods, thence North sixteen rods, thence East Ten rods, thence South sixteen rods to the place of beginning.
