In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of November, in the year of Our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty four.

This Indenture made and entered into, this third day of Decr. one thousand eight hundred and forty four, between and Cynthia [McClellan] his wife, of the county of and state of of the one part, and of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said , and Cynthia his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of thirty five dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of , in the State of , viz:— being a part of the North half of lot forty three, (43) in Block No five, (5) in ’s addition to , beginning Sixteen Rods South of the North East corner of said lot, running West eleven Rods, or to the centre of street, thence South Six Rods, thence East eleven Rods, thence Six Rods to the place of beginning containing Sixty Six Rods, be the same more or less.
Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold, the above described lot of land unto the Said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Cynthia his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises unto the said his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
In testimony whereof, the said and Cynthia his wife, of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written.
