This Indenture made and entered into this 4th. day of May A. D. 1844. between and Sarah [Warrington] his wife, of the county of in the state of , of the first part, and Lloria Drake of the same place, Witnesseth, that the said and Sarah his wife, for and in consideration of Fifty five dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Lloria Drake her heirs and assigns forever, all of two certain lots known and designated as lots one, (1) and four (4) in Block thirty four (34) in s addition to .
With all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said Loria Drake her heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Sarah his wife, the aforesaid premises, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will forever warrant and defend by these presents
In testimony whereof, the said parties of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Before me a Justice of the Peace, in and for said , personally appeared and Sarah his wife, whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed, and who are personally known to me, to be the persons described in, and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge the same to be their free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and expressed. And the said Sarah Warrington having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said deed, and examined seperate and apart from her said , did acknowledge the same, and that she relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed voluntarily, and freely without compulsion of her said .
Given under my hand and seal this 4th. day of May A. D. 1844.
