any and every other person or persons claiming by through or under them. And the said parties of the first part for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators covenant with the said party of the second part that they are lawfully seized of the above described premises and have lawful authority to sell and convey the same. And they will Warrant and forever Defend the title thereto against the lawful claim or claims of all and every other person or persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part, have hereunto subscribed their names and affixed their seals, the day and year first above written. L. S. L. S.. This day personally appeared before me an acting Justice of the peace within and for the aforesaid and his wife whose signatures appear to the above deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same, did acknowledge the same to be their own free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and expressed. And the said being by me made acquainted with the contents of said deed and examined separate and apart from her acknowledged that she relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed freely, voluntarily and without compulsion of her . This Indenture made, and entered into, this twenty first day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty two between and Sarah [Tilton Hibbard] his wife, of the county of and State of , of the one part, and of the County of and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said and Sarah his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred & thirty seven dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of , viz:— The west half of Lots Two (2) and Three (3) of Block No four (4) of s addition to . Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever.
