This Indenture, made and entered into, this Ninth day of November in the year of our Lord, one thousand eig hun hundred and forty four between and his wife of the county of and State of I , of the one part and franklin J Davis of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part Witnesseth that the said and his wife, for and in consideration of the Sum of One Hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said Franklin J Davis his heirs and assigns forever alb that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the county of in the state of viz: and described as follows beginning at the southe west corner on the west side of the south half of the sot south west of thirty one seven north eight west running thence north twelve rods and one half rod thence east thirteen rods thence south six rods and one fourth rod, thence west to the centre of Brigham street thence south six rods and one fourth rod thence west to the place of Beginning be the same more or less Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the above described premises unto the said Franklin J Davis his heirs and assigns forever And the said and his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said Franklin J Davis his heirs and assigns, gaints the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In testimony whreof, the said and his wife of the first part have hereunto set their hands and the day and year first above writen

I a justice of the peace in and for the City of , County and State aforesaid do certify that and his wife, whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance, for the uses and purpses therein mentioned. And the said having having been by me me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarly, freely and without compulsion of of her <said> .
