State of Illinois, Before me one of the Justices of the Peace in and for sd do certify that the person whose signature appears to the foregoing deed and who is personally known to me to be the person who executed the same acknowledged that he executed sd conveyance for the purposes therein mentioned. This Indenture, made and entered into, this tenth day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three between and his wife, of the county of , and State of of the one part, and of the county of and aforesaid, of the other part Witnesseth, that the said , and his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of viz. and described as follows beginning at as <a> Stake at the South West corner of a piece of land deeded to on the South half of the North West quarter of Section thirty six Township seven North & Range Nine West, running thence East ten Rods and two links, thence South fifteen Rods and twenty two links, thence West ten Rods, and two links, thence North to the place of beginning. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and his wife, their heirs and assigns. the aforesaid premises, unto the said his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever by these presents defend. In testimony whereof, the said and his wife of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written. L. S. L. S. Signed, sealed and delivered in presence of .
