wife of the said who hereby forever relinquisheth all right of dower in the said premises, hath hereunto set their hands and seals one the day and year first above written Seal Seal Signed and sealed in the presence of . The State of Illinois, , ss. Before me, an acting Justice of the Peace within and for said , personally came & his wife the above named grantors, and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above Deed to be their voluntary act for the use and purposes therein expressed. And the said being examined by me separate and apart from her said , and the contents of the said Deed being fully made known to her upon such separate examination declared, that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledge the same, and that she was still satisfied therewith. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and placed my seal, this tenth day of August, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and forty three. J. P. Seal.

This Indenture made and entered into, this twenty ninth day of May in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three, between Joseph Smith, as Sole Trustee in Trust, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of the County of , and State of of the first part, and , and , as Master and Wardens of Lodge under dispensation, all of the county of , and aforesaid, of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said Joseph Smith, party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve hundred dollars, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said , & , parties of the second part, their successors in office and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of , known and described as follows, to wit: The North East quarter, and the West half of Lot number one in Block number one hundred of the City of together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said , & , parties of the second part, their successors in office and assigns forever.
