confirm unto the said Sheperd Glazier his heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of viz: commencing at a stake at the North West corner of the South East Lot No 75 seventy five in Block No two (2) of s addition to the city of Nauvoo, running south ten and a half rods, thence East fifteen and one fourth rods, thence North ten and a half rods, thence West fifteen and one fourth rods to the place of beginning, containing one acre of ground be the same more or less. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above des-cribed premises unto the said Sheperd Glazier his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Louisa Cahoon his wife, their heirs and assigns, the aforesaid premises, unto the said Sheperd Glazier his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will Warrant and forever by these presents defend. In testimony whereof, the said and Louisa his wife of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written.

And the said Louisa Cahoon having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her .
