Jonathan H. Hale’s account in the treasury ledger notes a credit recorded 11 December 1843 “by city scrip endorsed returned by Fordham” for $1.17. (Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger, 80.)

Likely Ebenezer Robinson. Lewis Robison was the city collector for 1841, but there is no transaction for him in the treasury ledger for $1.54. The ledger lists a transaction for Ebenezer Robinson in connection with Elijah Fordham that was recorded 13 November 1843 for $1.54. (Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger, 8.)
