There is an entry recorded 19 February 1845 in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for $2.00 for an order to William H. Edwards dated 24 August 1844. This order likely corresponds to that entry. Edwards’s account in the ledger notes eight orders on collector dated 24 August 1844 totaling $14.00. This and the three other extant pay orders for Edwards dated 24 August 1844 likely correspond to four of those eight orders.
