Know all men by these presents that I Joseph Smith of the City of in the State of have mad[e] authorized <nominated> & appointed & by these presence do make authorize nominate & appoint of the aforesaid & my attorney for me & in my name & to my use & to enter into & take possession of all such Lots lands tenements hereditament & real estate Whatsoever in The Town of Henderson County in the State of even all the Lots deeded to me by and also for me & in my name to grant [p. 311]
