I do solemnly swear that on the days of the Company Cohort and parades in September 1844 I was out of the which was the reason that I did not attend said parade

I do solemnly swear that on the days of the Legion parade last September I was out of this as also my Son Lemon Wickle and that my Son Richard Wickle was sick on the day aforesaid which was the reason that we did not do Military Duty on said day

I do solemnly swear that my son Amos B Moore was not subject to do Military duty in September last (at which time[d] he was fined) and that he was attached to Capt ’s Company without My consent
