This Release of Dower made this 7th. day of February A. D. 1852 between , and Lewis C. Bidamon of Hancock County Illinois of the first part, and the of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the amount of one hundred and fifty dollars to be paid hereinafter hereafter according to a decree of the Circuit Court of the for the District of , made at the December term thereof A. D. 1857 in a certain cause wherein the are complainants and et als are defendants, do hereby release the dower of the said as widow of Joseph Smith deceased to the said parties of the second part for the use and benefit of whoever shall purchase under said Decree the premises hereinafter described to wit:—
The South East qr. of sec. no twenty five (25) and the north East qr. of sec no thirty three (33) in Township no (7) seven north in Range eight (8) West.
Also that part of the North ten acres of the South West qr. of section no. two (2) in Township no. six (6) north in Range no nine (9) West of the 4th pl. meridian in . Which lies West of the town plat of
