That the staff of the Lieutenant General shall consist of an inspector General, A Chief Chaplain Four aid de Camps, a drill officer, and secrataries not exceeding two, each to have the rank of Cols of Cavelry and a gauard of 12 aid de camps with the rank of Capt. The drill officer likewise to be the Chief officer of the guard
The staff of the Major General shall consist of a<​n​> <​Adjt Genl​> Legion or <​to act as​> Division inspector a Quarter Master Genl a Surgeon Genl a Commissary Genl a Pay Master Genl a Chaplain <​a Judge Advocate​> a Cornet and two aids de Camp each with the rank of Col of Infantry a Quarter Master Seargeant, a Surgeant [sergeant] Major and a Chief Musician <​each​> with the rank of Major
The Staff of the Brigadier Genl shall consist of one Cohort or Brigade Inspector to act as Brigade Major one one Quarter Master and one Aid de camp. The aid de camp, to perform the duties of Cohort or Brigade Judge advocate, one Surgeon one Chaplain and one Cornet each with the rank of Majors
Provide that <​any of​> the <​staff of the​> Brigr Genl Maj may have the privilege to act as aids
To each Regiment there shall be one Col one Lieut Col and one Major, with a regimental staff of to be appointed by the Col to consist of one Adjutant, who shall act as Regimental Judge Advocate on Quarter <​master​> and one Pay Master each to rank as Captains; one Surgeon <​Master​> Surgeon and Surgeon’s mate, one Surgeant Major one Quarter Master Surgeant, one drum and <​&​> one fife Major and one Color Bearer
To each Company there shall be one Captain & three Lieutenants, five Sergeants one pioneer & 4 Corporals four Corporals and one drummer & one fifer.
The Seargents, pioneer, & corporals, to be appointed by the Captains respectively, & to hold their appointments by certificate
