The staff of the Major General shall consist of <​a Legion or​> a division Inspector, a Surgeon Genl, a Cornet, a Quarter Master Genl, a Commissary Genl, a Pay Master Genl, a Chaplin and two aids de Camp with the rank of Colonels of Infantry a Quarter Master Seargeant, Seargeant Major, a Chief Musician with the rank of Major and four Musicians with the rank of Captains
The staff of each Brigadier General shall consist of one <​Cohort or​> Brigade Inspector to act as Brigade Major, one Quarter Master and one aid de camp to rank as Majors The aid de camp, to perform the duty of Brigade Judge advocate, One Surgeon and <​one​> assistant Chaplain with the rank of Majors <​one cornet​>
The staff of each Col
To each Regiment there shall be one Colonel one Lieut Col and one Major, with a Regemental staff to be appointed by the Col to consist of one Adjutant, who shall act as Regemental Judge Adv[o]cate one Quarter Master one Paymaster [blank] to rank as Captains respecting one Surgeon and surgeon’s mate, one Seargeat Major, one Quarter Master Seargeant, one drum & one fife Major <​and a color bearer​> [p.
