The People of the State of , To the of said , Greeting:
You are hereby commanded to SUMMON , & Elizabeth Dixon, if to be found in your , personally to be and appear before our Judge of our Circuit Court of said County of on the first day of the next term thereof, to be holden at the Court House, in the town of on the third Monday in the month of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-three to answer an appeal obtained by Francis Dixon—— from a judgment rendered against said Francis Dixon & Elizabeth Dixon, in favor of the said ,—— before Jos. Smith Esq Mayor of the city of Esq., a Justice of the Peace of said , on the Sixth—— day of April— in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-three for the sum of Seventeen dollars and 87½ cents, and Eight, dollars and 75—— cents, cost of suit. And have you then and there this writ, and make return of the manner in which you execute the same.
