This Indenture made and entered into this Twenty fourth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and forty Three Between and his wife of the County of and state of of the first part, and Joseph Smith as sole Trustee in Trust for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints, of the County of and state of of the Second part witnesseth that the said and his wife party of the first part for and in consideration of the love and good will which they bear to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of which the said Joseph Smith party of the second part is sole Trustee in Trust, and also for the sum of one Dollar to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said Joseph Smith as sole Trustee in Trust for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints party of the second part his successors in office and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the County of and state of Known and described as follows to wit as being Lot number Three (3) in Block Numbered Ten (10 in s addition to the City of , Together with all all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To Have and to Hold the above described Premises unto the said Joseph Smith party of the second part his Successors in office and assigns forever, And the said and his wife party of the first part their heirs and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said Joseph Smith as sole Trustee in Trust &C, party of the second part his Successors in office and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
