The business to be presented before this lodge was the investigation of the charge preferred against Dr. in a communication from G.M.A. dated May 4th. 1842 (said communication being on file and marked A.) but no evidence appearing to substantiate the charge it was.
Resolved, that the investigation of the charge preferred against Dr be postponed untill the next regular communication to take place on thursday the 16th. Inst. and that the Secretary pro. tempore, write to Grand Master andinform him of the proceedings of the lodge in reference to this case. It was also further resolved, that the Secretary. pro. tem. inform the M.W.G.M that he is expected to deliver an oration on the 24th. Inst., and if circumstances should prevent him so doing that he will give the lodge time<ly> notice of the same.
Brother having been suspended at the last regular meeting untill the present one, for disorderly and boisterous conduct it was moved by the J. Warden & seconded by the S. Warden that he be restored to full fellowship, which was carried.
Resolved, That be appointed to deliver an oration on the 24 Inst. in the event of the M. W. G. Master not being able to attend. Resolved that , , & be appointed a committee to make arrangements for the procession on the 24th. Inst. No further business appearing the several lodges closed down in due form to stand closed until tomorrow morning at 7 o clock.
