The committee of Investigation then reported favourably on the petitions of Aaron W. Davis, , , Wm. Field, , Elam Lu[d]dington, , , , Joseph Outhouse, , , Henry Marks, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , and the lodge proceeded to ballot for them in due form, and the ballot was found clear in each and every case. Lodge also balloted for , the ballot was found not clear, he was therefore rejected and his petition returned.
Brother offered the following amendment to the By-Laws which was ordered to lay over untill the next regular communication but one
Resolved, that the first <section> of the by-laws be amended by striking out the words “six o clock P.M,” and inserting the words “four o clock P.M.” during the summer season, instead thereof.
No further business appearing before this lodge the entered apprentices, and fellow Crafts were requested to withdraw, which being done the E.A. lodge was dispensed with, and a lodge opened in due form on the third degree of Masonry instead thereof. [p. 69]
