This Indenture made and entered into this second day of december in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one between and Athalia [Rigdon Robinson] his Wife of the County of and State of of the one Part <​and​> Jesse H D Hunter of and aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said and Athalia his Wife for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred Dollears, to them in hand paid, the recipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convay, and confirm unto the said Jesse H D Hunter his heirs and assigns forever all those tracts or parcels of Land Situate and being in ’s Addition to the city of and state of . To wit Lots No. one Three and Four in Block No. eight also Lots one and Four in Block No. Seven. together with all and singular the appurtenances belonging or in anywise pertaining thereunto to have and to hold the above discribed premises unto the said Jesse H D Hunter his heirs and assigns forever. and the said and Athalia his Wife their Heirs and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said Jesse H D Hunter his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warent and forever defend by these presents in Testimoney whereof the [said] and Athalia, his Wife, of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above Written

I, an alderman of the City of do certify, that and his Wife Athalia whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons discribed in and who executed the same did severally acknowledge that they have executed the said convayence for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, and the said Athalia Robinson having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said deed and examined seperate and apart from her said acknowledged that she had executed the same and relinquished her dower to the primises therein convayed, voluntarally freely, and without compulsion of her said Given under my hand and seal this second day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one
