to Sally Parker for. A. fraction of Land in B 5 in s addition to .
This Indenture made, and entered into, This twenty eighth day of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three between and Fanny M. [Atherton Redfield] his wife, of the county of and State of of the one part, and Sally Parker of the County of and aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said and Fanny M. his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars, to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Sally Parker her heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of in the State of viz. it being a fraction of land in Block No. five (5) in s addition to commencing at the N. E. corner of Green & Munson street and running East seven Rods (7) thence North seven Rods (7) wanting two (2) links thence West seven Rods (7) to Green street thence along said street south seven (7) Rods wanting two (2) links to the place of beginning Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining. To Have and To Hold the above described premises unto the said Sally Parker her heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Fanny M his wife, their heirs and assigns. the aforesaid premises, unto the said Sally Parker her heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever by these presents defend. In Testimony whereof, the said and Fanny M. his wife of the first part, have hereunto set their hands and seals, the day and year above written. L. S. F. M. Redfield L. S. signed, sealed and delivered in Presence of , . State of Illinois , SS. I, a justice of the peace of said , do certify, that and Fanny M. Redfield his wife, whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed, and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in, and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said Fanny M. Redfield having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely and without compulsion of her .
